At the young age of 15 Hyde Baker's love affair with guitars started when he rescued his fathers old acoustic from the closet. After repairing the missing strings he and a friend started their first band. With a musical background in everything from punk to blues, it was natural for Hyde to be drawn to build a guitar to suit his needs. After the first guitar turned out better than imagined he decided to make it official and founded Blue Belly Guitars. After spending 20 years servicing, restoring and playing guitars, Hydes dedication and close attention to detail will serve to build a perfect guitar that will quickly become your favorite.
